"Around Town" Media Coverage Request

Boston Neighborhood Network receives funding from Comcast to produce Around Town, a magazine-format series highlighting stories and community events throughout the City of Boston. Around Town is cablecast on BNN News and Information: Comcast 9 | RCN 15, streamed live on www.bnnmedia.org and archived on BNN's Video OnDemand.

Around Town features organizations, stories and commuity events in Boston that may go unnoticed by other media outlets. We are particularly interested in positive stories that reflect the rich diversity of the city in the following areas: youth, elderly, new Bostonians, veterans, arts and culture, education, health/nutrition, environment, history and architecture, community sports.  If you have a story or event you would like to see highlighted on Around Town, please COMPLETE, SIGN and SUBMIT both the Around Town Media Coverage Request form and Around Town Terms of Agreement below.

Please Note:

  • We ask that you submit requests at least three weeks before your event date.
  • Please be aware this is just a request for consideration and not a guarantee for coverage.
  • Before any production can go forward, the sponsoring organization must provide media releases for all event participants.
