Neighborhood Network News: 11/27/18

We begin tonight with a decrease in riders for the M-B-T-A. According to CommonWealth Magazine, new figures show a drop in riders, even during peak hours.
Previously, the decrease was mainly during weekends and off-peak hours on weekdays.

A focus on peace and impulse control: that's the mission of a unit that was unveiled today at the Suffolk County House of Correction. Young men between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five will get special attention--to help them turn their lives around by making decisions that are more mature.

Boston's incoming representative in Congress has announced her support for reinstating Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House. In a statement yesterday, Ayanna Pressley said one reason for backing Pelosi was her commitment to file a bill that would strengthen background checks for people buying guns.
