The voices of young people from Boston set the tone at a local swearing-in for the new congresswoman from the state's seventh district, Ayanna Pressley.

A social enterprise restaurant in Dudley Square for more than a decade has closed, at least temporarily. As of Saturday, restaurant operations at the nonprofit Haley House Bakery Café were suspended.

Also calling a time-out--on after-school and summer programs for students--is the Vietnamese American... Initiative for Development. According to the Boston Globe, the Dorchester non-profit will close the scholarship program for youth on February first.
