The face of change, rising with a new generation of leaders from the Boston Schools. They were at City Hall last night to share their stories and meet leaders from Boston's communities of color--commemorated through photos by Don West in "Portraits of Purpose."

Turning to the state of public health in Boston. There's more disturbing news about the toll of opioids, but also encouraging news on health disparities. Between two thousand eleven and two thousand fifteen, there was a sharp increase in the rate of deaths connected with the synthetic opioid fentanyl.

A financial service company's adding to the influx of jobs to the Seaport District. According to the Boston Globe, Mass Mutual plans a new office building at Fan Pier with space for one thousand new jobs. Most of the jobs would be relocated from an office in Connecticut.
