Boston Police getting in step with the community. That was goal yesterday at the Mildred Hailey Apartments in Jamaica Plain and five other locations around the city. It was all part of National Night Out--as well as a chance to meet Boston's new police commissioner, William Gross. A white man from Dorchester faces possible civil rights charges after screaming at two black motorcyclists and a police officer last Friday night. According to the Dorchester Reporter, fifty-four year-old Paul Sheehan was arrested for disorderly conduct. And State Police are investigating a sexual assault on Carson Beach in South Boston. According to the police, a woman says she was assaulted around four-thirty a-m by one of a group of people who were gathered near the Carson Beach bath house.
