BNN Youth Programming

Every year, hundreds of young people appear on BNN channels and website--in studio productions, in dozens of high school games and neighborhood parades covered with our mobile production truck and in many shows produced by members and by BNN, such as BNN News and Around Town. We also provide a variety of hands-on training opportunities designed for youth to create their own programming.

PROGRAMMING PRODUCED BY YOUTH

YOUTH VOICES: In the BNN-TV Youth Voices Program, Boston teens receive training and get experience in television production, including studio production, digital field production and multimedia. They assist with the production of programs to share on Boston Neighborhood Network TV cable channels and website, creating content that addresses issues of concern, counters negative stereotypes, and promotes constructive youth activities and opportunities citywide. You can see some of our past programs here: http://www.bnnmedia.org/vod/youth-voices

INVITATION TO SHARE YOUR YOUTH VOICES ON BNN-TV
We're working on new Youth Voices programs and want to invite youth organizations to help us share more youth voices from all over the city. We also can help you get the word out about your organization. You could be part of future programs by submitting video, requesting a studio appearance in our professional TV studio, or sending us some info and images for a promotional graphic on our community message board. BNN-TV cable channels reach three-quarters of Boston households and our programs can be viewed anytime on the web, so this is a great way for youth and youth organizations to be seen and heard!

Submit Video: Do you have a video of activities at your youth organization you would like to share on BNN-TV and bnntv.org? If you have a full show, we can help you schedule it in its entirety. If you have a video clip or segment, we would like to consider including it in a future Youth Voices show.  Please review these guidelines and let us know what video you would like to submit by emailing us at youth@bnnmedia.org.
